NFPA 70E - 8 Hour: Electrical Safety

Electrical accidents are approximately the fifth leading cause of industrial fatalities in the workplace. Electrical shock can suddenly stop the heart of an unwary victim. Consequently OSHA demands that electrical workers receive adequate training in the recognition and avoidance of electrical hazards. The consensus standard - the NFPA 70E The Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace - presents the industry best practices for electrical safety in the USA. This 8-hour course, based on this standard, distills the essential components required to recognize, avoid, and mitigate electrical hazards of shock and arc flash. The participant in this course will gain an understanding into the essential requirements necessary to avoid electrical hazards or work safely in the presence of them if necessary.

Best-in-business organizations actively encourage customer complaints. Some companies even refer to what they do to encourage complaints as "marketing" their complaint system. Companies give front-line employees the authority to award customers who have complaints with products, coupons, or even cash when it is necessary to resolve a complaint. Even public sector employees are able to give certain products and services to customers with complaints. The voice of the customer course will help managers identify what the customer truly values.
